Talenti, il Brunello Selezione Piero 2015 conquista tutti
Sono stati giorni ricchi di soddisfazioni quelli che l’Azienda Agricola Talenti ha trascorso al Benvenuto Brunello: oltre 4000 visitatori, di cui 250 giornalisti, per un appuntamento che, come ogni anno, si conferma tra i più attesi e prestigiosi della stagione. La cantina era presente con i suoi vini, tra cui spicca senza dubbio il Brunello Selezione Piero 2015: un’etichetta speciale, che ha ricevuto 100/100 da James Suckling, prodotta in edizione limitata con sole 2660 bottiglie. Il nome è una dedica al fondatore dell’azienda, Piero, colui che a metà degli anni ’50 arrivò in Toscana dando il via a un successo che dura ancora oggi: ora, è suo nipote Riccardo a portare avanti la tradizione di famiglia con passione e intraprendenza.
“C’era tanta attesa per questa edizione di Benvenuto Brunello, non solo in azienda, ma in tutta Montalcino – dice Riccardo – Non poteva non essere così: l’annata 2015 è una delle migliori degli ultimi anni, forse, addirittura, di sempre e tutti non vedevano l’ora di poterla assaggiare. Abbiamo avuto una grande affluenza di pubblico, non solo operatori del settore e giornalisti, ma anche tanti appassionati: questo ci rende felici, significa che il nostro vino piace e che c’è voglia di conoscerlo meglio, di capirlo fino in fondo. Possiamo certamente dire che si tratta di un bilancio più che positivo.”
I primi giudizi della stampa specializzata internazionale confermano le valutazioni di assoluta eccellenza espresse già nei mesi scorsi sul Brunello 2015: vini che hanno ricevuto punteggi altissimi, da James Suckling e non solo. E siamo solo all’inizio: “Archiviato Benvenuto Brunello è il momento di pensare ai prossimi mesi – continua ancora Riccardo – sperando che l’emergenza sanitaria non degeneri; l’evento più importante sarà di certo Vinitaly, a fine aprile.” Il Salone veronese, appena confermato, è in programma dal 19 al 22 aprile e, come ogni anno, rappresenta un’importante vetrina a livello nazionale e internazionale.

The Benvenuto Brunello, for Talenti and its wines was a big success, especially for the Brunello Selezione Piero 2015: lots of positive comments that confirm the very high scores obtained in the last few months.
At the Benvenuto Brunello, the winery Talenti spent a few very satisfactory days: there were more than 4000 visitors, 250 of which were journalists, and they were all present for an appointment that, like every year, is among the most anticipated and prestigious of the season. The winery Talenti was present along with its wines, among which undoubtedly stands out the Brunello Selezione Piero 2015: a special label, that was awarded with 100/100 points by James Suckling, it was produced in a limited edition of only 2660 bottles. The wine’s name is a tribute to Piero, the founder of the company, that in the 50’s came to Tuscany starting a successful story that lasts even today: nowadays Riccardo, Pietro’s grandson, is the leader of the company, carrying on the family tradition with passion and resourcefulness.
“This edition of the Benvenuto Brunello was very much awaited, not only by us in the winery but also by the whole town of Montalcino- says Riccardo- and it could not be otherwise: the vintage 2015 is one of the best of the last years, maybe, the best of all time and everyone was very excited to taste it.
We had a very high influx of people, and not only business operators and journalists, but also a lot of wine lovers: that makes us happy, because it means that our wine is well-loved and that the people have the will to get to know it even better, to really understand it. We could certainly say that this was a very positive experience.”
The first reviews by the international trade press confirm the excellent judgments expressed in the last months about the Brunello 2015: these wines had very high ratings, and not only by James Suckling.
But the company is actually just starting its events’ schedule: “Now that the Benvenuto Brunello is done we have to organize the months ahead -continues Riccardo- with the hope that the sanitary emergency will be contained; the most important event will of course be Vinitaly, at the end of April.” The veronese exhibition, that has just been confirmed, is scheduled from the 19th to the 22nd of April and, as every year, it is a national and international important showcase.
