3D laboratory and specialized short courses dedicated to three-dimensional Cinema secrets and to the new 3D television. DAMS Student reductions planned
Starting from February 2013, the ACT Cinema and Television Academy, with its headquarters in Rome, Via Tuscolana 1055 inside within the CINECITTÀ’s cinematographic establishments, have beginning the first 3D courses. An absolute novelty which begins inside the cinema city which is one of the most prestigious studio theatres worldwide and which aims to transmit technical and artistic skills. Within the most famous dream factory are being defined, the world of culture and education looks ahead with no nostalgia and renews itself under the third dimension with the professional Workshop “3DFilmmaking”, which will face various segments from the 3D direction to the 3D production, from the stereoscopic film to the 3D editing in order to face the new language’s potential and the third dimension grammar. Coordination and teaching are relied on Jordan River, an expert, which will introduce participants to the 3D Stereovision techniques and new forms of three-dimensional communication facing, through 3D techniques and equipment for cinema and television, the essential arguments to those who wish to take part to the work world with essential skills. For those participating to the full immersion 3D course, the gates of Cinecittà will be open and will receive a temporary badge in order to access inside the Studios. To the participants who will perform the entire training cycle will receive a Certificate. There are other special benefits for the DAMS students, thanks to the numerous agreements and conventions concluded between the ACT and the various University facilities. The lab meetings will take place in the prestigious theaters, historical memory of important movies filmed there and in the ACT headquarters, adjacent to the best-known set of famous International films, including “Gangs of New York” and the 4 hectares used for reconstruction of Imperial Rome.
