The Italian American Museum cordially invites you to attend the official cd launch of Michéal Castaldo's latest recording entitled, Olive You – Classic Italian Songs to Feed the Heart & Soul featuring a special showcase performance by Michéal of select tracks from the cd. Copies of the cd will be available at the Museum for sale and signing. The cd will also be available for sale at E. Rossi & Co. in Little Italy.

The album's lead single and critically acclaimed track, Pray'r has already garnered the No. 1 spot on Amazon.com's MP3 Classical Songs Chart in only three weeks from its initial release. It has also grabbed the No. 1 position in Amazon.com's Top Rated Classical Song and Hot New Releases Classical charts. The album features 12 songs including Italian classics such as Brucia La Terra, Core 'Ngrato and Con Te Partiro.
About Michéal Castaldo:
Michéal Castaldo is a Berklee College of Music graduate and an award-winning Italian classical-crossover tenor whose work has been called a “plush world of ballads and utter sweetness” by celebritycafe.com and “the perfect complement to an Italian music collection” by La Gazzetta Italiana. Born in Italy, Castaldo grew up in Canada and now lives in New York City. At an early age, he studied voice with Maestro Nicola Pisapia, a protegé of the great Italian operatic tenor, Enrico Caruso. Castaldo has recorded an extensive catalogue of music, sings in multiple languages and specializes in a variety of musical styles including Opera, Pop and Italian folk.
