June 21, 2010 is the summer solstice.
The sun reaches its extreme positive tilt, the moon enters the house and joined to it, pours the maximum beneficial energy on earth: it is time that man undertakes to recall the old balance with nature and become aware of its 'to be' nature.
Artists Paola Sick Enzo Marino Francesca Odling invite you to attend their concert to celebrate together, as in an ancestral rite, hope that we can actually reconstruct the division man and nature, which is the most insidious aspect of our times. Symbolic action will be expressed through the instruments of art, from sculpture to music to gesture.
In the garden, seven terracotta sculptures are arranged to show a vertical circle, creating an interior space (which evokes the sacred enclosure, but also the cyclical nature of time and uninterrupted). But it is also an area 'open', that is penetrable and feasible: the chance implies the willingness to find in their original identity, including through painful twisting, bending, failure … Forms are archaeological and in some ways symbolic anthropomorphic and therefore is the “temple of man.”
Around the 'temple' and elongated figures in it, graffiti ripped a prehistoric cave, graffisculture spinning, dancing, praying, in a tragic hunting ritual life, which chase the magic of kindness and generosity of nature. They are there not only to give us the hope of a future rather fruitful and happy but also to tell us of our ability to govern the chaos and thus give meaning to life.
… The flute involved with wood and metal with swirling air in the sound: the number in his musical sign is recomposed in space. Meanwhile, the man / artist urges positive energy evoking the primordial contact with fire when he was unconsciously and instinctively nature.
While sculpting the fire moving anxiously trying to chisel away the impurities and traps to tame, raise new pulse regenerating real 'spark' of life … and dream.
