You are cordially invited to attend an artist talk and to view the exhibition, Napoli, by photographer Janine Coyne, on Thursday evening June 26th at the Italian American Museum. She will walk you through her exhibition and present additional images that are part of her photo essay on Napoli.
Janine is a Professor at Kingsborough Community College where she teaches photography. Her photographs are in the permanent collections of many museums and she is no stranger to the Italian American Museum. Janine has shown her work Echoes of Ellis Island and Sicilian Journey at our previous location. This latest exhibit focuses on the people of Napoli as well as the ancient ruins surrounding them. We are pleased to have Napoli as the inaugural exhibition in our new gallery. Come and enjoy an evening where you are transported into a fascinating city, Napoli.
