Fondazione Antonio Dalle Nogare
IT. “1 – ∞: L’estetica del tempo” è l’ultimo di tre appuntamenti che si avvicendano tra giugno e agosto 2020 per presentarvi la collezione di Antonio Dalle Nogare. Questa trilogia mostrerà, in modo lineare ma non necessariamente cronologico, come nascono le opere degli artisti esposti in collezione, guardando alle stesse tematiche da diverse angolazioni e rispecchiando la società del proprio tempo.
La nascita dell’arte concettuale, vista attraverso tre opere dell’artista Robert Barry, era il tema del primo capitolo della Summer Series; il secondo appuntamento era invece incentrato sul tema del corpo – quello dell’artista o dello spettatore – finalmente al centro della pratica artistica, dall’Happening alla Body Art, prendendo in analisi opere di Ana Mendieta, Charles Atlas e altri.
Nel capitolo conclusivo di questa Summer Series ci dedichiamo ad un tema tangibile ed emozionante dell’arte contemporanea: il tempo. Tempo visto come affermazione da parte dell’artista della caducità della propria esistenza, come vero e proprio medium o mezzo creativo, o come soggetto di un’opera in quanto tale. Il tempo come progetto di vita, come strumento per illustrare storie o per scavare nel passato. Da Roman Opalka a On Kawara, vedremo come i singoli artisti presenti nella collezione Antonio Dalle Nogare utilizzino in maniera del tutto personale il concetto di Tempo nelle proprie opere.

Alle 10.00 avrà luogo il percorso guidato in lingua italiana, alle 11.30 in lingua tedesca.
A partire dalle ore 11.00 sarà possibile vedere il film “Manifesto” di Julian Rosefeldt, che riprenderà le tematiche trattate durante il percorso. Il film sarà disponibile tramite il sito della Fondazione gratuitamente per 24 ore a partire dalle 11.00 di sabato 8 agosto.
Anche per i più piccoli, viene proposto un laboratorio a tema – potrete scaricarlo sul sito oppure trovarlo in Fondazione durante la visita.

EN. “1 – ∞: Aesthetics of time” is the third and last of three appointments that take place at the Foundation between June and August, to present Antonio Dalle Nogare’s collection. This trilogy will show, in a linear but not necessarily chronological way, how the works of the artists exhibited in the collection are born, looking at the same themes from different angles and reflecting the society of their time.
In the first chapter we focused on the birth of conceptual art and on single works by Robert Barry. In the second chapter, the body – whether that of the artist or the viewer – was the focus of our analysis – from Happening to Body art, with artists such as Ana Mendieta and Charles Atlas.
Now, in the third and final chapter of this Summer Series, we are turning to a topic that becomes tangible and exciting especially when viewed from the perspective of contemporary art: time. Time, seen as the artist’s own transience, seen as medium or as creating force, and at the same time time as subject of the artwork. Time as a life project, as a tool to illustrate histories of the past or as a witness to the Zeitgeist. From Roman Opalka to On Kawara, we will see how individual artists approach the idea of Time in the works of the collection of Antonio Dalle Nogare.

Starting at 11.00 AM it will be possible to watch the film “Manifesto” by Julian Rosefeldt, which will resume the topics discussed during the tour. Anyone wishing to watch the movie from home can access it for free for 24 hours on Saturday August 8 on the foundation’s website.
For the little ones, there is a themed workshop – you can download it on the website or find it at the Foundation during your visit.
