Italy, ISPI and Coronavirus

The global Covid-19 epidemic that has hit Italy, in particular Milan’s region, has abruptly changed our ways of life, our relationships, our work. Reduced mobility and safety measures have put a halt to public events, conferences and many of the “social” activities that belong to a think tank’s daily life and work.

Of course, this crisis has hit ISPI, too. But it has not hit our willingness to innovate, adapt, and carry on working with even more focus, curiosity and thirst for knowledge; especially at a time when understanding complexity has become a necessity for all citizens. In this time of lockdown and “social distance”, technology has swiftly come to our rescue, allowing us to to “keep our lights on” for all our readers, followers and friends.

We “keep our lights on” through our website and our online publications: ISPI Reports, Dossiers, Daily focuses, our Weekly newsletter on the USA2020 campaign and a new Daily video-analysis tackling the geopolitical and economic implications of the coronavirus epidemic.

We “keep our lights on” through our events and conferences live streamed online and the training programmes of our ISPI School regularly held in a distance learning mode.

In dark times, ISPI keeps its lights on.
