The Vice President and Dr. Jill Biden have departed for Zagreb, Croatia, the first stop on their trip to Croatia and Italy.
In Zagreb, the Vice President will participate in the Brdo-Brijuni Presidential Process hosted by the President of the Republic of Croatia, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, and the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Borut Pahor. The Vice President will also hold meetings with President of the European Council, Donald Tusk, Prime Minister Zoran Milanović of Croatia, President Pahor of Slovenia, and President Grabar-Kitarović of Croatia.
In Rome, the Vice President will meet with Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi. Afterwards, the Vice President will hold a bilateral meeting with Archbishop Paul Gallagher, the Secretary for Relations with States of the Holy See.

Wednesday, November 25th – Zagreb, Croatia and Rome, Italy
At 10:15 AM LOCAL TIME/4:15 AM ET, the Vice President will meet with President Borut Pahor of the Republic of Slovenia. There will be a pool spray at the top of this meeting at the Westin Zagreb.
At 10:40 AM LOCAL TIME/4:40 AM ET, the Vice President will hold a bilateral meeting with European Council President Donald Tusk. There will be a pool spray at the top of this meeting at the Westin Zagreb.
At 12:00 PM LOCAL TIME/6:00 AM ET, the Vice President will meet with Prime Minister Zoran Milanović of Croatia. There will be a pool spray at the top of this meeting at the Banski Dvori.
